Collections of Former Members of Congress

Note: The following digital materials have been created from the Center’s vast repository. Items from the collections below have been requested or created as a part of specific projects and we are adding new materials daily. 

The congressional collections are made up of primary source materials created in the day-to-day operations of each former member’s congressional office, such as manuscript materials, correspondence, legislative documents, photographs, etc. Many of the collections also include materials from the member’s lives outside of congress including other elected offices, governmental appointments, and personal/family papers.
